Parking Notification from the Public Works Commissioner
12/16/2015

GREETINGS FROM THE TOWN OF DICKINSON
PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

I would like to take the opportunity to ask, as a courtesy, that the residents of the Town be aware of some parking issues and concerns. Several of our streets are narrow and our residents need to be conscious of the fact that when cars are parked on both sides of the street it makes it difficult for emergency vehicles to get through.

Please be considerate and courteous to your neighbors and make an attempt to park in your driveway whenever possible - year round. This may present an inconvenience to some, but our best interest is the safety of all our residents.

Also, please abide by the Storm Parking Regulations as posted throughout the Town of Dickinson:

SNOW ORDINANCE STATES IF THERE ARE 2 INCHES OF SNOW ON THE GROUND OR 2 INCHES OR MORE PREDICTED – NO PARKING WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE TOWN OF DICKINSON STREETS.

Thank you for your cooperation.
Sincerely,

Joel Kie
Commissioner of Public Works
